I have just finished reading and digesting one of the best books on sales and marketing that I have read for a long while and I want to share it with you. The book is called “Book Yourself Solid” by Michael Port. Although primarily written for self employed consultants, the ideas and structure of the book hold many lessons for anyone trying to grow their client list and revenues.
The book splits into Four Modules:
- Modules 1 & 2 are all about building your foundation and then developing your trust and credibility.
- Module 3 teaches you about selling and pricing; and
- Module 4 is about self promotion with seven self promotion strategies.
I have prepared a short video below in which I set out six reasons why I think you should strongly consider reading the book and getting to know Michael and his content better, as I am doing.
